We are a northwest Montana outfitter, located in the Kootenai National Forest about 65 miles north of Kalispell near the small town of Fortine, Montana. We have access to the Kootenai National Forest that is located in Northwest Montana right up to the Canadian and Idaho border.

The terrain of the Kootenai National Forest encompasses approximately 2.2 million acres, an area nearly 3 times the size of Rhode Island. Elevation varies from 2,500 ft to 7,000 ft with weather that varies as much. When visiting our area you will be pleasantly surprised by light population that lives in and around the Kootenai National Forest. This leaves a great ratio of hunters to game in Northwest Montana, which will give you some of the best odds for a successful hunt.

Be sure to bring plenty of film as the Kootenai National Forest has some awesome views as well as trophy Whitetail & Mule deer, elk, bear, moose and Mountain Lion. While much of the Kootenai National Forest can be accessed on foot or by horseback we also have easier access for those who choose this option. Another treasure in the Kootenai National Forest is Lake Koocanusa. Surrounded by mountains this beautiful lake is one of the gems of northwest Montana.
