We offer you wilderness adventures, activities, and training. Derringer is a licensed, year-round New Mexico guide service. We offer hiking, camping, hunting, fly fishing, horseback trail-riding, horse packing or goat or llama pack trips, back packing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, river floats, and tours of Indian ruins. We offer advice on horsemanship, and seminars in outdoor skills: hunting, fly fishing, black powder, archery, horse packing, goat packing, river and lake boating, wilderness survival, Dutch oven cooking and much more year round. We limit the number of people to about 10 each week to give you special attention. Most of our trips include food and lodging, and we can customize a trip for your interests. We sell a variety of equipment for the wilderness traveler to include: cooking equipment, horse, llama, and goat tack, guns, archery , inflatable boats, and other specialized wilderness needs.
